The sliding tab is a kind of hidden tab. Normally, it will show up as social network’s button and when you click to those buttons, it will slide out a tab that contains your social site’s posts.
Static tab: this style always shows a social tab on your page content and it cannot be hidden.

Your social tab can be positioned and arranged in different places on your site such as the top, middle, bottom, left, right, etc. It totally saves space and flexible.
