I’m happy to announce the release of Documents Seller version 6.2.0 ! The main focus on this release is official Joomla 6 support. We worked on the extension to make sure it is compatible with Joomla 6 without requiring Backward Compatibility plugin enabled. Also
- There were also some fixes to make sure the extension works well with PHP 8.4
- Allow control access level for each payment plugin
- Allow changing Number Documents per page on Documents Management

1. Implemented Modern Dashboard
A new layout for Documents Seller dashboard is implemented in this release. Not only it is more modern, more beautiful but it also provides you statistic data for your store including: Total Income, Total Orders, Number New Customers, Chart for income in last 7 days, last 13 months, sales statistic by countries, recent order....
2. Updated code to use FileSystem framework
This is just technical changes in the extension code to make sure it works well with the upcoming major release 6.0 without requiring Behaviour - Backward Compatibility plugin enabled
1. Performance Improvements
Joomla 4 and Joomla 5 implements a new plugin structure which result in performance improvements. In this release, we convert the plugins in Documents Seller to that new plugin structure to improve performance.
2. Code Quality Improvement
We also worked on code improvement in this release to use latest Joomla API (replace deprecated API) to make sure the extension works well with future releases of Joomla
1. Compatible with Joomla 5.0
Joomla 5 is planned to be released in the next few days. We did final testing and make sure Documents Sellers compatible with Joomla 5.0 native (without requiring backward compatible plugin)
2. Added Export Orders Feature
You can now export orders in Documents Seller into CSV file
3. Generate Default Messages For New Installation
There was a bug in the extension causes default messages not generated for new installation. This is fixed in this latest release
